You are here because you are broken.
Because you are lost.
Because you feel like there is no one who understands the tears that continually fall or the ache that refuses to leave your heart as you think of your baby that is no more.
You are not alone.
You are surrounded by women who have suffered as you are suffering right now, and more importantly, you are the beautiful creation of a God who sees you, hears you, and wants you. A God who is standing with arms open wide, waiting to embrace you, strengthen your wobbly knees, and help you rise up and walk once again.
We do not have to understand His ways ~ we do not even have to like them ~ but we have to trust.
Obey.
Surrender.
And seek His face ... so He can heal us.
There is only one place to find true healing, one person who can restore the brokenness, one way to live in the sorrow until the pain begins to melt away. There is only one place ...
at the foot of the cross.
Sometimes we can make it to the cross on our own. Sometimes we refuse to go because we want to hang onto the pain, the rage, the sorrow. And sometimes, we need the gentleness of a friend who is willing to carry our stretcher and take us to the one who is patiently and joyfully waiting ~ to heal us. Completely, wholly, and with the most tender of touches. Jesus Christ.
Will you let us take you there?
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
